(Downers Grove, IL ) July 27, 2018 - Yesterday was the second debate between Rep. Peter Roskam and Sixth District Congressional Candidate Sean Casten held outside of the district. As many district residents continue to demand debates within the district, Casten reiterated his challenge to Roskam to comply.

(Downers Grove, IL ) July 26, 2018 - Tonight in the City of Chicago Peter Roskam doubled-down on his attacks on women’s rights and protecting voter's health care. Sixth District Congressional Candidate Sean Casten released the following statement:

(Downers Grove) July 25, 2018 - Last week Peter Roskam voted to slash the budgets for the EPA and Interior Department, demonstrating that his pose on protecting our drinking water is just an election-year charade. In response, Sixth District Congressional Candidate Sean Casten and Jack Darin, Director of the Sierra Club Illinois Chapter, released the following statement:

“Peter Roskam is afraid to debate in front of his own constituents. We’ve been invited to multiple debates in our own district --- open and free for voters -- but Roskam refuses to even give the courtesy of a response to many of those groups. We will debate him any time, anywhere, but we prefer that debates be held in the district.”

“Today at the White House Peter Roskam should demand President Trump renounce his support of Russian President Vladimir Putin, and put America first,” said Sean Casten, Democratic nominee for Congress in Illinois's 6th District.

“Yesterday, Donald Trump put America second. The entirety of the U.S intelligence community agrees that Russia interfered in the U.S. elections in 2016 -- specifically targeting the State of Illinois -- and Donald Trump today considered it water under the bridge,” said Casten “Peter Roskam chimed in, but so far his actions have not matched his rhetoric.”
