DOWNERS GROVE, IL -Rep. Sean Casten and Sen. Cory Booker spoke to about 100 supporters today during a Casten for Congress Weekend of Action phone bank.

“From clean energy to climate change to environmental justice, your [Rep. Casten’s] voice has emerged so quickly as one of the most important in the larger global movement to save our planet, to save endangered species, to somehow begin to roll back the devastating impacts we’re seeing from climate change, from the forest fires in the west, from the floods in the midwest, from the hurricanes in the southwest,” said Sen. Cory Booker said during the event.

Through the first nine hours of the campaign’s Weekend of Action, supporters of Rep. Casten made over 50,000 phone calls to voters in the 6th District.
