DOWNERS GROVE, IL -Today, Rep. Sean Casten was joined by Pete Buttigieg to encourage supporters during the campaign’s Weekend of Action. The two spoke to about 200 supporters before a virtual phone bank on behalf of Rep. Casten.

“Congressman [Casten], I wanted to tell you how proud we are of the work you’ve been doing,” said Pete Buttigieg during the event. “I was proud to support you before in a race not everyone thought you could pull off, and since you got in there I’ve just seen so much common sense, good legislation from you, even early in your tenure in the House. The House majority you are a part of is the engine of good policy in this country.”

“As we sit here now in this last push, the goal can’t be to win,” said Rep. Sean Casten. “The goal has to be a landslide, because we know the values of the American people justify a landslide.”
