DOWNERS GROVE, IL – Rep. Sean Casten hosted an event with over 80 supporters last night to provide voters with information on how to safely cast their ballot from home. Voters from across the 6th District attended the event and learned how to vote by mail and the key dates associated with the upcoming election.

The event featured multiple election experts, including:
-Cynthia Borbas, Chair of the Dupage County Democratic Party
-Nate Sippel, Executive Director of the DuPage County Democratic Party
-Patrick Watson, Democratic State Central Committeeman
-Nancy Shepherdson, Democratic State Central Committeewoman

After the event, Rep. Casten released the following statement:
“With COVID-19 threatening the safety of in-person voting, it is overwhelmingly necessary to educate voters on all voting methods available to them. Voting at home is a safe and secure way to ensure that everyone can exercise their right to vote in this upcoming election.”
