East Dundee is a village in Kane county, with a small section in Cook County. WIth a population of slightly more than 3,000, East Dundee is located across the Fox River from West Dundee.

The Fox River Bike Trail is another popular destination for residents and visitors alike. What to See Around December 1st, residents and guests from around the area celebrate “Dickens in Dundee,” when shoppers are regaled by carolers as they search for Tiny Tim’s crutch and enjoy crafts and treats, followed by a parade. In the summer there are Wine Down Wednesdays and Thirsty Thursdays which pair live musical performances and street festivals with wine and food offerings.
