Sabato Joins Cook Political Report and Inside Elections by Moving Casten v. Roskam to Lean Democrat

(Downers Grove, IL)  October 18, 2018 – Following a recent poll showing Casten with a five-point lead, this morning, Larry Sabato’s Crystal Ball joined Cook Political Report and Inside Elections rating Illinois’ Sixth Congressional District race as “Lean Democrat.” Sean Casten’s Campaign Manager, Greg Bales, released the following statement:

“Despite National Republicans’ and the Trump Administration’s attempts to bail out Peter Roskam–his record of voting against protections for Americans with pre-existing conditions, and raising taxes on his own constituents speaks for itself. This latest news follows reports of national Republicans abandoning vulnerable incumbents like Peter Roskam.
